LOL! Sorry but I always find talsin's posts wildly entertaining. Thank you for prying a laugh out of almost every thread you post in.
I went through nolani with my necro and my monk at 9 and 7 respectively, my necro was my first and when I found nolani it was my first mission. I'm of the mind that level isn't the defining factor but it does affect your game somewhat. Only in major cases where the difference is usually 6+ levels. If you're the henchmen level and competent you should be ok. Lower and you better be pretty good but don't expect others to know it automatically. Alot of GW players pre-ascension seem to be on a level all their own. I haven't experienced any of these horror stories that people post about.
As for the blow hours on a skill quest? What game are you playing? SOME quests might run an hour at most. You also get two skills. Run the damn things when you can and save your skill points for the stuff you really want later. 20,000 exp isn't hard to get but its harder to get than running early/mid quests. Sure with a good group FoW can be a cake walk but how many groups have my monk in it? (j/k)

Solo grinding out minotaurs at 100xp a shot or griffons at 120xp a shot tends to be far more reliable xp per hour than waiting around for a pug to do any area out of ToA. You tend to make money instead of spend it as well.

Lmaonade, are you for real? Or are you just having us on?
It's cracking me up so much to read your posts:
Use good grammar and spelling - but I won't even try!
I'm the best in the game - take my word for it!
I'm lvl 13 - don't think I'm a noob - You're lvl 20 - I think you're a noob!
Really funny stuff. Keep it coming.
Whoa this thread is about to lock, I can just smell it...

*sniffle* I thought I was your favorite Lmaonade....how come there's no more bad-grammar and non-sensical ranting in my direction? I should've known you'd tire of our relationship fast....

hah hah! Oh, I liked the "excuse me I turned myself on again" and the "Is, my, grammer, not flewless"
I used to like pve, actually I haven't played the game in a week due to boredom. Unfortunately, I'm at work and theres little to do at the moment, summer afternoons are so freaking slow.

Wow,t his thread turned into a flame fest rather quickly.
I've finished the game with 4 different characters, and after the first time I played through the game, I spent less and less time in pre searing.
Getting to Nolani at < 10 is common.
I do - however - bring my higher level characters back to pick up quests after I've ascended. Ashes, and Dukes Daughter, for example, are MUCH easier when you're level 20 versus level 7, and getting 4K+ in EXP while breezing through a mission is a lot better than stuggling though it early.
But I won't level exclude people if they want to ride my coattails to finish the quests. I could care less - the monsters aren't giving my XP so I'm not going to miss it with more people, and if I can give back to at least a small segment by being helpful, I'll do it. And at Nolani, even though my character is level 9, I know how to finish it with bonus, with little risk, and a smooth mission completion, and I haven't run into a party yet that hasn't cooperated there.
Much different from Elona Reach. At ER it's a rare PUG that can successfully complete the mission without at least one n00b not reading the memo about monster aggro.

I see the flames, but I'm going to ignore those: I just want to put in two comments:
1. Personally, I leave pre-searing at level 7-8 on average. Another guy said he leaves at 17, which is VERY high which I will likely never do, but I still leave at a relatively level. Why? Is it because I'm a n00b who wants to easily defeat monsters that can't scratch me?
Actually, I happen to like the scenery. I also like to know I've seen everything in pre-searing (or whatever area I'm in) since the game's areas are quite well done. I'm sight-seeing in a way, while leveling and finding items (along with doing quests). Some people are probably like me, which end up at pretty high levels (as a side effect, really) in relatively early stages in the game.
If you want to attack level-discriminators, very well--do so. But you're leaving no room for those who are high level but do not discriminate. I assure you, not all of us higher-level-than-area-calls-for are like the way you described.
2. Warrior/Monks are only idiots and a waste of space in a team if they are of the healing/protection variety (didn't switch from PvE). Warrior/Monks that are smiters are quite useful, I must say (though I personally play W/E).
With that out of the way, I care not to get any more muddled in this.

If your not one of the people who discriminate then why are you taking offence?

One more time, just in case you've forgotten this quote If he likes to thoroughly explore each area, I'm pretty sure he was 12 or more by Nolani. Don't act all surprised that you've offended all sorts of people in this thread.

No offense, Talesin, I usually find your posts pretty entertaining, but that was a pretty lame retort...
